Methodology

What we record

Public list prices of digital subscription services, per country, per plan, dated. We record; we do not interpret. The archive does not only record increases; price reductions and unchanged prices are recorded under the same rules.

Verification layers

K1 Official announcement — company statement, blog, or press record of the change. K2 Dated archive — a dated snapshot of the price page. K3 List price — the publicly visible store or price page at the time of recording. K4 Field confirmation — anonymised, aggregated price confirmations from SubLens users; shown only when the sample is large enough.

Radar rule

Rumours and expected changes are kept in a separate Radar section, always labelled UNVERIFIED with their source. When confirmed they move to the record; when denied, that is recorded too. Unlabelled mixing is not permitted.

Dates

The date of a record is the effective date of the price. Where only the announcement date is known, that date is used. Where only the month or year is known, the record shows that precision and is marked "day pending confirmation".

Markets

The unit is the country, not the currency. Currently tracked: United States, Turkey, Germany. Other markets are open for records and awaiting data.

Scope

Public list prices only. No prices behind login, no scraping, no personal data.

Corrections
